No Baseball is good for nothing. That’s why Cricket is the 2nd most popluar sport in the world and baseball is only really played in America & Japan. America needs to stop bitching & play a real sports.

Yep that’s why cricket is a good sport because requires skill, not like baseball that’s easy & simply.

Okay, there are also breaking ball pitchers in baseball, who instead of relying on a fastball, rely on a good curveball (starts in one place, ends up in a completely different one), pitchers like Tim Wakefield and RA Dickey who just throw the knuckleball (dances around the plate) and a whole slue of other pitches- like the slider, slurve, splitter, forkball, eephus, knucklecurve, etc designed to fool the batter.

@TopTenCrew Also, in Cricket the speed of the bowler doesn’t matter. It’s the technique. 2 bowlers ,Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram, can make the ball turn in the air. And they are fast bowlers, they are not meant to make it turn like spin bowlers. Also, Cricket is much more demanding on the player. They have to constantly run. I’m pretty sure that you know that Cricket matches last for a long time, so for the whole duration of one inning, they could be running.

That’s true, though there are different delivery styles in baseball as well (submarine pitching, sidearm, etc- pretty much if one foot’s on the mound, you can do whatever) where the pitch is about 93-95 on average, though going up to 106 with a tiny bat, which pretty much a guaranteed out unless you make the ball hit just the right part of the bat.

@TopTenCrew Well, in baseball you aren’t allowed to aim at the batter. In cricket, you are. There are many different types of deliveries, and the batsman will have to anticipate what kind of delivery it will be. It’s not easy with someone bowling 90MPH at you, when you have no idea what the delivery will be.

You really don’t know anything about Baseball- there were a ton of players convicted for steroid use. Barry Bonds basically got written out of the record books for it, since he was leading the league in homeruns.

And about hitting the ball, it’s not really hard when the bat is HUGE and is about 60% sweet spot, while a baseball bat has about 10.

@TopTenCrew They sure don’t. Also, could a scrawny person easily hit a cricket ball, which is harder, heavier and smaller than a baseball, 80-150m out of a park?

@TopTenCrew go tell the usa cricket team that, & while you’re at it down to compton cricket club & tell them that you think they’re ****. *****.
