A taxi from Horton Plaza will be expensive. You are about 17 miles from the venue. Unfortunately there is no public transportation that will take you there.

Probably the best you can do is walk from Horton Plaza to the Civic Center trolley stop, catch the blue line trolley towards Mexico to the (Palomar Street Station stop) and take a taxi. From this point a taxi ride would be about 6 miles. Perhaps a nice sign may help you find someone to share the ride.

If you don’t have money for a taxi, you can catch bus route #704 (northbound leaves every half hour; bus trip is 20-25 minutes) from the Palomar trolley stop to the corner of Main St. and Brandywine. From this corner it is less than 2 miles to the amphitheater, but a lot of the traffic at this point will be going to the show so you should be able to catch a ride with a sign.

After the concert you will have to find a ride to downtown since the buses don’t run late at night.
