@Fricasso79 A baseball country? No-one plays baseball apart from the US, Cuba and Japan (punishment for losing a war? Harsh deal). There are 700 million cricket fans in India alone, add England, New Zealand, Australia, Sth. Africa and various African nations, West Indies, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, etc. World series – what a joke. No-one else is invited, nor wants to be. Baseball is a small niche game in comparison.

@MrAgentMoo I’m not sure, but in test matches it is 300-450
In ODI’s (50 overs) It’s 270-300
In T20′s (20 overs) It’s 150-180

1. first bad thing is no player would keep bat on ground to lift it to play thier shot the batsman taps it on the ground and lifts to give him time to pick out a shot and swing. 2. the shot after the forward defencisive shot you would go on your back foot and play that shot to give you better timing and to loft the ball more over the field for 6-4.
3. dosnt matter where you hit it you might have good strength to clrear the infield n maybe get 1-2 runs from
