@cowpooo69 Gays are boring?……Looks like they’re having a right old party to me…not that I’d want to join in.
I imagine gays might find cricket boring though, but they probably love all those U.S.sports with their dressing up and all that carnival atmosphere and razzmatazz….Right up their street I should imagine…

@djragav Not saying baseball is easy by any stretch but there is not the variation from the impact with the pitch, it also takes some pace off the ball but still there is not specific “box” in which you have to put the ball.

@djragav Sorry for the late reply,

I’ve played 1 or 2 steps below state cricket here in Australia.
Yes 100MPH is more comon in Baseball but still not comon. Brett Lee, SHoab Aktar SHane Bond and Geaoff Thompson all have recorded 100MPH deliveries, There is possibly a couple more. Also take into account that is a “relative speed” the ball is travelling towards the batsman at x speed but it is not direlcty at the batsman the speed it’s travelling into the pitch is higher still simple physics.

@jay4457, in Cricket, 85-90mph is average, bowlers can even bowl a 100mph ball which almost unplayable.

Yeah and Cricketers bowl at 90 to 100 miles an hour. I faced 90 mph bowling and it’s scary, the ball moves laterilly off the pitch and the bouncd hight also varies. I have had broken ribs, fractured scull and broken evey finger playing cricket. At higher level competition its a tough sport, and it’s no 3 strikes and your out ball gets past you in the right area once your gone.

dude, have you lost it. Baseball pitchers throw that ball 90 – 100 miles per hour……
