1. Kevin Pietersen is not the captain of England. He relinquished tha tpost earlier in the year, due to a fall-out with the England and Wales Cricket Board. The current England captain, for Tests and ODI’s, is Andrew Strauss, and the T20 captain is Paul Colliingwood.
2. The surgeon was flown is specially from Sweden, due to the specialised nature of the operation.
3. As he is a leading surgeon, I would imagine him to be more than competant.

As long as they didn’t get the surgeon mixed up with a car mechanic then all should be well lol. KP will be back playing cricket in a few months (but not as captain, he’s not been the captain for a while now).

The Sweden doctor must be good, as he is specially flown from Sweden.
I think he is competent enough, again, the fact stating that Sweden doctors are fine ones.
Treating a injury such as achillies tendon, is dangerous and there is a low chance of being succesful. So the Swedish surgeon can do it right, or wrong.
An achilles injury can take up to 12-16 months to recover from.
Hope you are treated soon, KP!
Thanks, hope I helped!
Cheers!
