There may not be great expectations of the teams from the Netherlands, Canada, and Kenya in this cricket world cup, but they’re certainly making a bit of money. In a first, India’s biggest food brand Amul, battery maker Base and flower exporter Karuturi Global have signed on as team sponsors for the Dutch , Canadian and Kenyan teams respectively. Storyboard reports that these cost-effective associations seem to be working wonders for both – the sponsors and the teams.
